A hardwood floor is a solid wood surface cut for interior rooms. It can suit living rooms, halls, bedrooms, and other dry areas of a house. We look at the room, the existing floor, and how you use the space before we recommend a next step. If the wood you already have can be sanded and finished again, refinishing may be the better job. That work is described on its own page. New hardwood is the right conversation when the floor needs to be replaced or when a room has no wood floor yet.

We schedule a free in-home measure so the room sizes are taken on site. Doorways, stairs, and transitions are easier to plan when someone is standing in the house. We will tell you what the visit is for before we arrive. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 to 17:00.
